How to change power plan in Window 7 32 bit laptop?

How do you change the power plan on a Windows 7 32-bit laptop? My screen dims after just a couple of minutes every time I use it.

How to change power plan in Window 7 32 bit laptop?

It seems you need to change your power plan settings. Just go to; Start Menu -Control Panel- Power Options. Here you should select your preferred plan and then left click on " Change plan settings" at its right side.

On this setting page,at the question "turn off the display" select "Never" and your problem is solved, i promise.

You have to do this for every plan individually, if you need this settings for all of them.

Diagram of Windows 7 proposal is put in a balanced performance with energy using up on hardware. So because of this your laptop screen of 32 bits may not bright as you mentioned. So it is mandatory to modify the energy plan to extreme performance mode. These are some strategies which are beneficial for you

• From control panel Go to Power Options and double click it.
• On appearing Additional plans click the down arrow to view the High performance power plan.
• On High Performance activate it.
• Click advanced power settings.
• Go to Hard disk turn off hard disk after and set it to Never. This enables the GC to do its job while logged off.

If your screen dims automatically after just a few minutes, you simply need to change the settings in the Power Options in the Control Panel. Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Performance and Maintenance”, and then select ”Power Options”. In “Power Options Properties” screen, in “Power Schemes” tab, under “Settings for Home/Office Desk power scheme”, set “Turn off monitor” to “Never”. This should fix the problem.

When you install Microsoft Windows, this setting is set to a particular time by default which automatically turns off the monitor after the time has elapsed which indicates a period of inactivity on the system. This can be annoying to some users but is also a way of saving power by dimming the computer monitor.
