How to change the NVidia settings Windows 7

Hello Techyv Guys,

I am using Windows 7 x 64bit with the latest NVidia Drivers from their own website. But NVidia Control Panel settings is not getting applied, I have no idea on how to overcome this issue. Please advice on how to change the NVidia settings windows 7.

How to change the NVidia settings Windows 7

Hello Mike Atherton,

To save your Nvidia Settings and Preferences in a Profile you will need to have Administrator Rights so that the software can save the profile. One solution is to Run the Nvidia Control Panel with Administrator Rights by right clicking it and "Run as Administrator". The other way is much more complex and you can find it here: Manually enter DLLs to Registry.

If the first method doesn't work and you don't want to try the second, I suggest that you uninstall the drivers completely from your Computer and download the latest one from Nvidia, doing a clean install. This should take care of the problem.
