How has the increased usage of mobile devices (like the I-Phone) become a security concern to those in charge of network security? Is it possible to secure such devices so that they don’t become the weak links in the security chain? What are the measures that one could adopt towards this purpose?

How can you secure mobile devices to improve network security?

In I-phones, security can be enhanced by following some techniques. Primarily, the user has to keep a stronger pass lock which is difficult to guess. The personal notifications and icons will get invisible when screen is locked. The 2 step verification can increase the security level. Also, by keeping the web browsing data and location privately security can be provided. Antivirus software must be used. By enabling ‘Find my phone’ option,  even if mobile is lost or theft by anyone, we could find out through GPS.
