How can I resolve Windows Live error code 0x8104000b?

I recently installed Windows Live, but I received error like this:

 

Couldn’t set up the installer

Check to be sure you are connected to the internet

Error: OnCatalogResult 0x8104000b

I am connected with the internet, and I don’t have much security running on my Windows XP Professional computer.

Even if I run the registry cleaner, it still doesn’t help me resolve the issue. I still cannot continue on downloading Windows Live.

I want to know the solution for this.

Please help.

How can I resolve Windows Live error code 0x8104000b?

If you are experiencing error code 0x8104000b when installing Windows Live, it is likely because of invalid or unreachable proxy setting in your Internet Explorer. To resolve the issue, you can do the following:

• Try to reset your internet connection. If you are using a modem, close the modem for a minute then turn it on again.
• If you are using a router, push the tiny reset button at the back.
• Open your Internet Explorer
• Click on Tools then click Internet Options
• Click the LAN settings button under the Connections tab
• Check the Use Automatic Configuration Script box.
• Remember or copy the URL that is currently shown in the address box below the check box.
• Delete the URL that is currently shown in the address box, and simply replace it with a space character.
• Click OK in the (LAN) Local Area Network settings box.
• Now click the LAN settings again.
• Clear the Use Automatic Configuration check box that you have checked earlier.
• Click OK in the LAN settings box.
• Click OK on the Internet Options box to close it.
• Click Start button on your desktop, and then select Shut down to restart your computer.
• Try to re-install again the Windows Live.

How can I resolve Windows Live error code 0x8104000b?

To solve this error the following rules you can maintain,

At first you need to check your net connection properly. Must be installed LAN driver software using your Motherboard software. Try to use registry fix software to remove registry error. Now you remove previously installed windows live from control panel (add/remove function). Go to c:/ drive(program files) and also remove windows live folder from here.

Download latest version of windows live and update your operating system windows 7 or XP using windows update. Restart your pc. Now install Updated windows live. Enjoy the world using windows live.
