I want to remove the following from the top of my articles in my Joomla website.
   Category: categary_2

I have looked in the admin panel, but haven't found a solution.
I've installed Joomla 1.7 and have added a template for my Joomla website.
Can some one help?

Follow these simple steps.
1. Open the page you want to edit through the Article Manager by clicking Content in the Article Manager menu item
2. After opening the Article Manager, Locate the Title of the Article to be edited.
3. Click on Parameters then Advanced pane In the Parameters Section of the Edit Article screen.
4. Finally, locate the Author Name, Created Date and Time and Modified Date and Time drop down fields in the Parameters listÂ
5. Change it to Hide and you are done

Follow these simple steps.
Go the post that you are going to edit. Now that you have opened the Article Manager, go to the Title of the article. Left Click on Parameters>Advanced pane>Parameters Section of the Edit Article screen. In the end locate the Author Name, Created Date and Time and Modified Date and time drop down fields etc. in the Parameters list. And change it to Hide. I hope this helped.
