I have Windows XP SP2 operating system on my computer.

When I try to open .exe file of Applications (Game or package software), I receive the following error:

NET Framework Initialization Error.

C:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv1.1.4322mscorwks.dll could not be loaded.

I have updated Windows Installer and repaired the DLL files but in vain. This error continues disturbing me. Should I reinstall Windows?

Please help me in this matter on what I should do?

Hi Ham_pe!

Since updating the Windows Installer and repairing the DLL files did not fix the issue, I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of .NET Framework.

Here's how:

  • You need to uninstall it first: Go to Control Panel and double click on Add/Remove Programs. Look for the .NET Framework.  Left-click to highlight it and then left-click on Change/Remove button to totally remove it from your computer. Then restart it, for the change to take effect.
  • After restarting the computer, download the latest version of .NET Framework from the Microsoft website: See this link: Net framework.

Hello,

You need to defrag your system. To go there,  go to the start menu and then select, My computer.  Select the drive of your computer and choose properties. Now select the tools in which you can see the defragmentation.  Click that to start scanning your system and to fix properly the files on your drive.

Now try to scan your system, if it is infected with any viruses or may be spyware and then if you want just download this one, Advanced System Care, it can repair file on your system.
