I have a Samsung S2, with me. 

Please suggest a way to play audio dat file android mobile phone.

If any software can help in this regard, I would prefer free wares.

Which video player do you use?

I suggest you try playing the Dat files through Dice Player. 

Go to Google Play store and install it. Here is a link:

Another way out is that you can install a video converter application in your phone and convert Dat files to known formats that you phone supports.

I would suggest following freeware software for your Android phone which has advanced capability and also supports a wide range of codec and file formats.

However you might be pleased to know that it also supports windows 8 operating system.
