I bought a Huawei Pocket Wifi last week. Is there any way to improve or maximize its download speed as indicated in the screen?

How can I improve download speed for Huawei Pocket Wifi?

 

Hello there!

 

Download speed of Huawei Pocket Wifi depends on your connection, signal and environment. 

 

To improve the download speed, you may try the following:

 

Place your Huawei router on a window or higher location. Make sure to place it around 3 to 6 feet  away from other devices that may cause conflict signals.

Make sure that it is set to WCDMA mode not GSM. To check, go to the Web UI, click settings > dial up> mobile network settings then the preferred mode.

You can buy antenna if there is no improvement since the router comes with a built in antenna port.
