How can I download .NET framework?

I wanted to download .NET framework for my pc as some software requires it being pre installed on the pc. 

Where can I get to download the file for free? Any suggestions.

How can I download .NET framework?

 

Microsoft.net is a language which is developed by microsoft and this language is similar to C and also it is majorly used in many programs for smooth execution.

 

Coming to Windows Application Form in .Net it is simple as it is drag and drop and no need to generate any code for that as automatically code will be generated.

 

It mainly consists of VB, ASP and C#.net in which vb and asp are used for design and coding is done by using c#.net and for all these the common thing that need to be followed is to install Microsoft.Net Framework.

 

Framework can be easily downloaded from the website of Microsoft as it is a microsoft product and you can easily install and access it and it's good that framework will not have expiry date.

How can I download .NET framework?

Since you did not mention the exact version of Microsoft .NET Framework you require, I will just give some of the different versions available. I will be giving the offline versions of the installer instead of the web installer.

• * Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 – installer size is small around 62 MB. It supports Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. For server OS, it supports Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
• * Microsoft .NET Framework 4 –the setup file is small around 48 MB. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, and Windows 7. For server OS, it supports Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1. It requires Windows Installer 3.1 or higher.
• * Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 – installer size is big around 231 MB. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and later. For server OS, it supports Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.

If the version you are installing requires Windows Installer 4.5, go to Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable. Before installing Windows Installer 4.5, refer to the table below to select which version is for your operating system.

Installing Windows Installer 4.5 requires a restart. After the installation, restart your computer when you are prompted to apply the changes and update system files.
