How can I determine what service pack I have installed in windows?

How can I determine what service pack I have installed?

What service packs of window you are using everybody can simply verify that with the following procedure.

• Right click on my computer you can see the properties click on that now go to the general tab. You can see all information below. What window you are using what service pack you are using all information is here.
• The mention example of the picture is the idea that how a picture looks in Microsoft Window XP. Service pack 3 is there as you can see in this picture. Click start Run in the run line type winver then press enter.
• A same window will appear like the top one example after running this command and that window will give you all information regarding the full version with the service pack

How can I determine what service pack I have installed?

A service pack is a structure of a one installable package which has an album of fixes and updates to a software program. When the amount of persons patch to a specified program touching the certain boundaries then Microsoft generally releases a service pack like SP1 SP2 SP3 etc.

The following steps facilitate you to identify your service pack

1. Step1: Click on start and open control panel.
2. Step2: Now click on the “Performance and maintenance” in the control panel.
3. Step3: In the Performance and maintenance window you can find the system Icon.
4. Step4: Click on the system icon at the bottom of the window.
5. Step5: In the system window you can find the general tab by default if not click on the general tab.
6. Step6: Now you can see your service pack.

Or

1. Step1: Click on start button.
2. Step2: Now right click on My computer and click on properties.
3. Step3: You can find the system properties window.
4. Step4: System window you can find the general tab by default if not click on the general tab.
5. Step5: You can  find the service pack.

How can I determine what service pack I have installed?

Service pack installation is really important and every service pack has some changes in it's features. Mostly the next version of Service pack is installed with Windows update, but if you want to upgrade any ideal version you want to you can make it anytime you want t by going to Microsoft official website. In order to check the service pack currently running follow the below steps:

Simply try this is command,

1. Go to Start

2. Then in the Run type MSINFO32 in the run box and then click OK or Click Enter. This will let you view which service pack of windows you are using.
