How can I create remote agent project plan?

I have installed Bamboo and made a project plan using default agent. Now I am creating a remote agent for another machine. How can I create remote agent project plan and run the project with remote agent.

How can I create remote agent project plan?

Hi Hall,

Here is the process to create and run a remote agent project in Bamboo system:

1. First of all download and install the remote agent
2. Then you have to create a directory on the agent machine
3. Click administration in the menu bar
4. From the left panel click Agents to display the “Agents” screen which will show all local and remote agents currently exist on your system.
5. Then click on Install Remote Agent
6. Download Remote Agent Jar and save this to the directory created in step 2.
7. Then keep a note of the command under the heading “Running a Remote Agent”
8. After completing the installation you will be able to run the remote agent by using the command you noted in Step 7.

How can I create remote agent project plan?

Hello!!

I have realized the matter of your problem. Now I am giving you the best solution regarding the issue.

Firstly you have to download the remote agent. Then the installation process will be begun. A directory should be created  on agent machine which will be considered as a server.

From the main window of Bamboo select Admin. Then go to agents. Where you will see the agent lists. Then the ‘Enable Remote Agent Support ’ should be selected.

After setup the Remote agent can be used easily by command line.
