Hallo people.
I have this Samsung hard drive installed on my personal computer. I find it difficult to partition the drive to separate documents and music files. I have visited forum Samsung easy partition to establish how to go about partitioning without interfering with the hard drive sectors. Does anyone have an idea how this can be done on a Windows 7 platform? Thanks big time.
How can I carry out Samsung easy partition creation?
Hi Halton,
If you want to set a partition on an active Windows 7, you can also try the Windows 7 Disk Management tool in your Control Panel under the System and Security link. It is found on the Administrative tool and then Computer management. This also lets you format, and change a drive letter aside from setting the partition. You can also access it on the search box just type diskmgmt.msc.
To add a partition just simply click on New Simple Volume, a pop up box would appear then you can follow the instruction set the size of the new partition, on an active OS you can opt to not format the drive. If the space is not enough you can also try to shrink the volume of a drive to make it as unallocated  space is also found on this tool.

Hello Halton Roy,
If you want to create partitions on a hard drive then I suggest you to do that by using a Windows 98 CD. That is one of the best things if you want to create some excellent work in creating partitions and formation. But if you want to Create partitions in an already running then you can use the software names as PARTITION MAGIC. By using this software you can easily create partitions in your OS.
