I use an application which often access the internet. Many at times I don't have data services. How to block an application from accessing the internet?

How to block an application from accessing the internet- Follow these steps.

I want to prevent my applications from accessing the internet. I want my applications to have free access to the network. May be in some situations we don't have access to internet than this will help us.

Method 1: By using Group Policy Editor.

Step 1: Enter gpedit.msc in the search box after clicking Start menu.

Step 2: After directing to Group Policy Editor, expand User Configuration.

Step 3: Enable “Don’t run specified Windows applications option.”

Step 4: Enter the filename that you want to block after clicking Show>Add.

Method 2- By using Registry Hack.

Step 1: Create a couple of keys after finding the registry.

Step 2: Set the value as 1 after generating a new 32-bit DWORD.

Step 3: Create another key and also a series of String values, starting with 1.

Step 4: Restart your computer.
