Hi. The steps to follow to learn how to backup Exchange 2003 are-

1) First, you need to start the backup in the advanced mode.

2) Select the backup option

3) Expand the MS Exchange Server to select the databases which are to be backed up

4) If all the storage groups need to be backed up, mark the check box of MS information store option

5) If only specific storage groups need to be backed up, click on MS information store to expand it and then select the options to be backed up

6) Browse the location where the backup needs to be stored

7) Select on start backup option

8) A backup description box will appear in which you need to click on backup job information

9) Click on start backup option

10) Verify that the backup has been completed
