I want to know if there is a way I can enhance the locations in Google Maps, because my locality does not feature in it. Please tell me how can my location be added to update the map, if there is a way.
Yes, there is a way you can do that. You simply have to Sign in to Google Map Maker using your Google Account. You can click Add place on a pop-up that appears in the right bottom corner. Google has a pre-prepared step-by-step tutorial to guide you. If that isn’t of any help to you, you may also go to the top search bar and type your address and then click the satellite view button on the map to be able to find the exact location you're looking for. Navigate through the map unless you find a more-or-less locatable place.
You can then, click Add New followed by Add a Place on the upper left corner of the map. Click on it to open a short drop-down menu. When your cursor looks like a Google Maps marker, click to drop it exactly onto the location you wish to add, type a general description of your place to add more info. Enter the name for your location. Press Continue and once you're done with adding all required information, click Save. You'll receive an email regarding the approval of your addition, and soon enough, it will reflect on Google Maps!
