Hotfix Pack2 for Presentation Server4.5 does not allow the AMC4.6

Hotfix Pack 2 for Presentation Server 4.5 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions) does not allow the Access Management Console 4.6 to be installed and the installation just fails with error message “Installation Failed. ”

This error does not occurs when the previous version of Access Management Console is already installed on the computer or there is streaming profiler and the streaming client installed on the computer on which Access Management Console 4.6 is to be installed.

Hotfix Pack2 for Presentation Server4.5 does not allow the AMC4.6

Dear Landon perez,

To install Access Management Console 4.6 on Presentation Server 4.5 with Hotfix Rollup2, according to citrix support page, please consider following these steps:

• Download and extract the fix file.

• Launch the Access Management Console 4.6 framework installation using this command line: msiexec.exe /i "D:Access Management ConsoleASC_Framework.msi" TRANSFORMS="C:tempCDFFix.mst " /l*v C:tempamc.log".

• Where "D:Access Management Console" is the actual path of ASC_PresentationServer.msi and "C:temp" is the actual path of the previously extracted transform file CDFFix.mst.

• Resume the Access Management Console 4.6 installation by using the command: "D:Access Management ConsoleCtxInstall.exe". Where "D:Access Management Console" is the actual path of ASC_PresentationServer.msi.
