Hi,

I’m having a problem using MS Excel 2003. When I open a file by double clicking, the formulas are not getting updated when the information is changed.

The calculate function is shown at lower left side corner. The function key F9 is also not updating the formula. But when I use the open file option in the file menu, everything is working fine. What could be the reason?

Do you have any answers?

Please help me.

Hi,

You are using MS Excel 2003 now. When you are changing information it is not updating itself, F9 is not working to update the formula and some others problems you are facing. I think there is a problem with the Office Properties option of the said program.

You can find it on Tools Menu on MS Excel 2003. From Tools menu select “options”. Here you can change your necessary options for the program. You can make your office for yourself. So make sure that everything here is ok. If still it does not work install a fresh copy of MS Office 2003.

I hope you understand it.

Hello,

Chad Raymond

Nice Day!

You are in trouble with your Ms excel.Don't worry i am going to suggest you solution you can try

First I will suggest you to install the latest version of the Excel.

  • Tools>Calculations>make sure radio button set to “automatic”

This can also applied for individual work sheets so you might need to check this in all your previously saved worksheets.

After setting the Global option to automatic that should be the default for all new worksheets.

Hope you get the answer…….
