Help need for excel sheet problem

I have excel work books with about 200 sheets. I want to apply same formulas to every sheet .Is there a way to do it at the same time. please help.

Help need for excel sheet problem

Hold down the Shift key from your keyboard and then go to the last sheet of your file. Click into it while continuously holding the Shift key.The bar on top will be renamed to spreadsheet(book1) & [GROUP].

Any formula that you put on any sheet when you sort it in group mode will also be applied on the entire sheet.

Let us take an example:

If you inserted a formula in cell B2 under your sheet 1, this formula will also be put on all the sheet that you grouped. To ungroup the sheets, right-click on every sheet and then click Ungroup Sheets.

Help need for excel sheet problem

 

If you want to apply the same formulas to every sheet in a work book, you are able to follow the below method. However, the formulas will be applied in the same cell in the every work sheet.

First you have to make sure that any of work sheet has not been previously protected. Because if any of work sheet has been protected you will not be able to apply formulas to every sheet. This is the way

Right click on a sheet name and click on the “Select all sheets” as follows.

 

 

 

Then type the formula that you want to type in a cell.

(Sheet 8 in the following image)

 

 

 

Now you can see the same formula in every work sheet.
