I am a student of data science. I want study to data and its different aspects. Can someone tell me how to distinguish between sampling and non-sampling errors? My exams are around the corner. Please reply fast.
Help Me Distinguish Between Sampling And Non-sampling Errors During Calculation.
There are a lot of difference between sampling and non-sampling errors. The major differences are given below.
- The sampling error is the error that is generated due to the data collection process. It arises when data is taken from a subset of the given dataset. A non-sampling error is any error that can generate apart from the reason mentionedabove.
- When the sampling is done, the error caused due to the sampling is not known until the whole population is known. However, a non-sampling error is known as soon as it occurs.
