HELP: Hard Disk defrag tool

Hi,

How often should you defrag your hard disk drive? I have this software called, Advanced System Care. This software notifies me if my computer is running slow. One of its solution is de-fragmenting my hard drive in order to optimize the PC speed.

Now, It seems like everyday the software notifies me that my computer is running slow. So, I let my HD defrag everyday. Is this safe?

I think that your computer is affected by a virus. At first, run off system restore and form full HDD, then I think this problem will be solved.

Hi, I think you should go with the disk manager, it might help you.

Another alternative is that you should install the new operating system and install a powerful Antivirus like BitDefendar. It can solve your problem !

And by the way, de-fragmentation is a process by which you can release your fragmented area. But If there isn't any, then it's risky to use it again and again !
