I guess you want to convert the file system of your partition from NTFS to FAT because of the text ConvertNtfs2Fat on the dialog box. The possibility of the conversion depends on the capacity of your hard drive. Today, because of the increasing capacity of the modern hard drive, the possible file systems that you can use are FAT32 and NTFS.

FAT12 and FAT16 file systems are very small and are not suitable to be used on today’s modern hard drives. You can use either FAT32 or NTFS file systems on your hard drive. The FAT32 file system can handle a maximum volume size of 2 TB with a maximum partition size of 32 GB.

If your hard drive or the partition on your hard drive is above 32 GB, you cannot convert your partition to FAT32 because it is too big. If you want your partition to use the FAT32 file system, you should decrease its size to 32 GB or lower.

If decreasing your partition size is not an option, you just need to stick to the NTFS file system because it is the only applicable file system for partitions larger than 32 GB. For operating systems such as Microsoft Windows XP and later, the default and ideal file system to use is NTFS because it offers more security features than FAT32.
