I want to ask 2 questions :
 I have the new iMovie ( I don't like it) Is there any websites (good ones) how to use the new iMovie. Or if you know i link to download the (older) iMovie HD ?.

 My real objective for the laptop is to use it for video/photo editing and I find that Windows XP can be just too unstable at times to cope with high volumes of high resolution footage. How much more stable is the Apple OS system?

Hi,
 We need to consider a few things when using a computer for video or photo editing. For video editing, you need to have a fast processor so that it can render faster. For Photo editing, it would be best if you have additional Memory sticks so you can manipulate photos in a smooth manner. Most Video and Photo Editors use Macinstosh Computers because the softwares are easy to understand and pretty much straight forward. There are several videos in YouTube which will help you understand the easiest way to edit videos in iMovies. You can check this out to start with.
I highly recommend Mac OS rather than Windows, more stable and it keeps your files almost 98% virus free.
