There are about 135 files which have to share as sharepoint 2010 law office template. These files contain data about 200MB that can take a lot of time to share. What short method to share heavy data from Sharepoint 2010?

If you want to share big files, it usually gives trouble to someone who need to download the file, this happens to everyone who is on a slow connection, or maybe in dial up connection.

Hi Priscilla Hilyard,

To compress files that have big data for sharing, you may zip the files or compress it by converting it to a rar file. In order to do this, you may download the rar converter, "WinRar." Here is the link where you will download it: https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?

After you have installed WinRar to your computer, place all the files that you wish to compress and put it in one folder. Select this file and then right-click on the mouse. Choose the "Add to (name of file).rar" option.

This should lower the size if your files.
