What brand name hardware and software is needed to convert vinyl music albums to digital files. I have PC which is not highly configured. Its P4.

Hello Ulysses Arredondo,

It is very easy to convert vinyl music albums to digital format and you don’t need to collect any hardware that is expensive. Also you don't need a computer with high configuration so your P4 is enough. Firstly, consider that, the work is very time consuming because it will take 15-25 minutes per song. So I suggest you to collect that music from market if it is already in digital format. If it is not available in the market then convert the music to digital format.

To do this you need a sound input jack that will help you to insert the music into your computer. Now you need a stereo system that can play tapes of music and has a sound output jack. Now insert the jack in the output of the stereo system. Your hardware configuration is done. At the time of recording, set the volume level maximum so that the recorded wave can have more sound. In this way record all of your desired music and keep those in your hard disk.
