Hanging problem in new HTC Desire 616 when playing the game

Recently, I bought a new HTC Desire 616 which runs an Octa-Core 1.4 GHz, Android Jellybean 4.2.2 and a 1GB RAM. I am excited to play some games on it so I quickly installed a racing game which is more than 200MB in size. However, when I start playing, my phone suddenly stops on responding and worst is, it restarted itself automatically. I want to know how I can play this game without getting any issues. My phone is new and I still have loads of space on it.

Hello,

Playing game on smartphones is acceptable when the RAM size is large enough. Your HTC Desire 616 has got only 1GB of RAM where your Android games are larger than 200MB. Android is a Linux-based OS, which makes any small sized file super large when executed. So, this problem is arising. Your RAM is unable to load the games perfectly so the mobile is restarting.

There’s no way that you can increase the RAM size. All you can do is to use your SD card as an extra RAM. This will take a small space but should give good result.

You can use this ROEHSOFT RAM Expander, Smart RAM Booster, Memory Booster etc. to increase the RAM size using your SD card. Also, you can use the method described here.

Viruses can also cause this problem. You can use any antivirus especially Norton, Avast etc. These are good for Android.
