Hello. I am currently using AutoCAD 2007. I like this version, I have no problem in drawing and plotting my design. The only problem I encountered is that when I print my output, all AutoCAD blocks at printing appears to be on gray scale.

These are the basic checking and procedures I have done so far:

  1. I edited the block and update the drawing
  2. I also tried to set 'xdwgfadectrl’ to zero
  3. Set all transparencies to zero
  4. Tried creating a new file as the issue may only happens on my project
  5. Set the actual lines of the block on layer zero

I give up. I couldn’t fix it. Please help me.

Well, Object Color is set as the default plot color. With this setting, the object retains its layer. If you set a plot style color, the color overrides the color of the object at plot time. So, You need to change the preferences in Autocad.

Go to file on the menu bar. Select "settings", then select "preferences". A window will appear, go to the "print " tab and select  "DISPLAY PLOT STYLES" .
