Hi there,

When I want to run VMware on my MAC I have this graphic error. I have checked and the virtualization is not disabled on my MAC. Also, I tried many ways to run my VM but I couldn’t find a thing. Can anyone please tell me how can I solve this ? Is there a problem with my MAC or VM ?

Thank you !

Your virtual machine may run slow because virtualization support is disabled on your Mac.

For optimal performance, please enable hardware virtualization support in your Macs firmware.

This problem on the virtualization performance on virtual machine when running on a Mac PC bugged some users but eventually found a solution. The solution is to simply do an update on the Parallels software and the problem will be fixed. But as always, this method didn’t always turn out to be positive on other users but majority, of course, has solved their problem.

Go to the menu and click Parallels Desktop. Once the program is open, click Check For Updates. Wait for the result and install the available update. Wait for it to finish and restart your computer. Now try running your virtual machine again and see if the problem is fixed. This problem on the Parallels software was mostly encountered by users running Mac OS X Lion.

And also, before starting Parallels Desktop close all open windows. Make sure your computer has an active internet connection when doing the checking of the update. You might encounter a problem saying that you don’t have an internet connection even if you have. This is possible if you have a sluggish connection. To make sure no problem will be encountered, try doing the update during off-peak hours.
