Hello,

I recently installed a new copy of windows on my PC. I also deployed the AMD 13.1 Catalyst Display Driver and the GPU-Z system utility on my computer but on running it, the GPU-Z opens successfully but I get a prompt with a message as indicated below. I have tried to update the drivers but the message still persists. What could be the problem?

Regards.

GPU-ZATI

OpenCL driver bug detected, skipping OpenCL detection. Uninstall the AMD Stream SDK/OpenCL driver to re-enable this functionality.

Hi Jeffrey,

Here are the ways to fix your problem, follow this instruction:

Step 1: Uninstall the AMD Stream SDK to your computer.

Step 2: Go to your local drive C: > Windows > Syswow64 then delete "amdocl.dll" and "opencl.dll"

Step 3: Install the AMD Stream SDK again.

Step 4: After installation double check if the AMD Stream SDK is not installed again.

Step 5: Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > AMD APP > bin > x86 and C: > Program Files (x86) > AMD APP > bin > x86_64 check if those files are saved here.

Step 6: Now try to use the GPU-z then see if the tick mark can be found next to OpenCL. If there then this is now going well.

I hope this can help a lot.
