There may be so many reasons available for this bug. Clear the Google Play Services cache and restart the Play Store. If that is not helpful then you could be using an old and outdated version of Google Play Services installed. So you can simply update Google Play Services to the latest version.

If that too is useless, you have to clear the cache for the entire Google Services Framework. It is available as an App in the “Apps” section under “Settings”.

As last option, you can to remove your Google account from your device temporarily. Go to accounts from settings and click “Google”. Then click “Remove Account”.  Switch off your device, and reboot after 30 seconds. Add your account back to the device, and reset your information.

If you have an Android phone and you keep receiving this message every now and then, first option to try is to simply restart your phone. Turn off your phone first then wait about 5 to 10 seconds before turning it back on. See if the error comes back. Whether this method worked or not, you should update Google Play services if you haven’t updated it yet.

Updating this component on your Android phone is very important especially for new phones. When you buy a new phone, all apps that come with it are all outdated stock applications that need to be updated. Download Google Play services and update your phone. If updating Google Play services doesn’t help, another workaround is to remove an update. On your phone, go to “Settings” and then “Apps.”

Select “Google Play services” from the list then look for “Uninstall updates.” Tap it then restart your phone. See if this works. Another method is to clear the Google Play services cache. On your phone, go to “Settings” and then “Apps.” Tap “Google Play services” and then “Force stop.” After this, tap “Clear cache” or “Clear data” and then restart your phone. See if this works.
