How can I go to windows safe mode ? My computer is infected with virus and I will try to delete it manually using safemode.

Hi,

In order to access safe mode, you will need to restart your pc, and when its starting click on F8 key and you will get a screen with all the windows options available on your pc, click on safe mode using the arrows key on your keyboard,after which you click enter, however if you want to use the internet you will have to click on safe mode with networking.

Hi,
If you want enter Safe Mode on Win XP, please follow these steps

1. Switch on the power button on your PC and when its start loading BIOS then keep pressing F8 button until the screen show you Safe Mode Screen.

2. Use UP and Down Arrow on your keyboard to choose your option. (in this case choose Safe Mode)

3. When it is succeed then you will be prompted with dialog box, just click Yes button to continue.

Sometimes some Software cannot be installed on Safe Mode, so make sure the software you want to install is support installing on Safe Mode.

if you fail to install the Antivirus you can use LiveCD like HirenBoot or HBCD or Win PE to access your harddrive and use it to scan the viruses.
