Hello Experts!

I have a small query which I needed to resolve as soon as possible, since all the important emails are needed for my business. I set up my Gmail account with Exchange and I have been using it for a long time now, when all of a sudden when I attempt to log in with the correct username and password, it says incorrect. I am sure that the password is correctly typed. Is this another kind of virus? Or are there any settings from Gmail that can help me fix this issue? Please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi Ginger moore,

Actually this problem is occurred when we enter the wrong password for many times. But another reason is due to illegal access by some intruders.
The solution for this problem is secondary email id. When we create our account then security question is created. Also the secondary email id is entered.
For this first you click on " Can't access your account? "
To reset your password, type the full email address that you use to sign in to your Google Account. If you are a Gmail user, type your Gmail username.
Now Type the characters that you see in the picture below and proceed.
After that Choose how to get back into your account.
you have two option
1.Answer my security question

2.Get a verification code on my phone

As per choice select the option and give the answer. After giving correct replies you can reset your password by receiving the mail on secondary email id.

Hope this can resolve your problem.
