It seems you are modifying the configuration of GIMP and you are already saving it when the error appeared. If this happens, disabling the antivirus temporarily will fix the problem. In your case, disable your antivirus first and then try saving the configuration again. If it doesn’t work, close all applications then restart the computer. After booting disable your antivirus then start GIMP. Modify the configuration again then save it. Just re-enable the antivirus once you are finished.
