Detected Poker Client Lobby Error

So I have this problem with a poker software I have currently installed. It is now prompting me with this error message which I posted here as well. Now to answer the questions below: 1. Yes the poker client is running. 2. Yes I am running Windows 7 as my operating system. So what is wrong with this software? Any help are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the following things please:

  1. Is the poker client running?
  2. Do you run both (partypoker and HoldemManager) as admin? (Windows vista/7 only)

<>3)Is “preference ->General->Embed player information in the lobby” in the partyPoker client checked?

Hi Donald,

That error is probably occurring because you did not run your game as an administrator as suggested in 2 (it is not asking you which operating system you have installed). To run it as an administrator you must first:

  1. Find out where your game is. It is usually stored here "C:Program FilesHoldem Manager 2" (without the quotes). 
  2. Then right click your .exe file, click properties
  3. After that Compatibility, check the "Run this program as an administrator" checkbox and you should get something like this
