Getting multiple IPs on my D-Link Wifi Extender

I purchased the D-Link Wi-Fi extender to amplify the signal since it was not reaching all areas of the house appropriately. It worked for around 4 days and afterwards, my tablet could not connect to WiFi anymore. I tried checking the router's logs and I found out that it was constantly assigning IPs. What might be causing such an issue?

The constant assignment of IPs usually occur due to the lack of powerful signals. It can be that you are located out of the reach of strong WiFi. So, move somewhat closer and make sure that the devices can reach strong of WiFi connectivity. This can be the main reason for the issue.
