Getting MSMQ to run on a mixed mode domain

How do I get MSMQ to run on a mixed mode domain of windows 2000? Is there a way of getting this done and can I enable it by default on my computer's domain? Which version of message queuing should I use 3.0 or 1.0 version?

Getting MSMQ to run on a mixed mode domain

Your question depends on which MSMQ server you are talking about. There are those that cannot allow working on a mixed Windows 2003 server domain for example the MSMQ server 3.0 and the MSMQ server 1.0 cannot work together in the same windows domain. If you want to work in a mixed domain environment then you will consider which Message Queue you install. For example the MSMQ server 2.0 main just be the right server for you. Consider installing this kind of server because this one allows working in a mix environment unlike the others which are so sensitive. In short it will depend on many other issues like which mixed environments do you want to work in.
