Getting HTML files instead of APKs when using Samsung WiFi Direct

Hi

I would like to ask about Samsung’s WiFi Direct sharing option. I am supposed to get APKs (which was what I got the first time) or HTML files? Can someone tell me why am getting HTML files now? Also provide me any information that you need I need to know about it.

Hi Mark,

I guess you are speaking about android to android. In android to android, only one of the android device should act as server. It looks like both the devices are trying to be server. In this case there might be glitches. You can even try to re-establish the connection by turning the wifi on and off. If this solution do not works, try getting this application (​hitchernet, which will allow you to transfer large files using wifi). If still you are facing problems, make sure 'unknown sources' is unchecked by the receiver.
