Getting an error message when starting HDM Pro

Hi,

I am getting an error message when starting HDM Pro. I attempted to run the setup again and selected the Repair installation but I got the same error message. How can I fix this error? Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Bundle of thanks.

Getting an error message when starting HDM Pro

Hi Matthew,

 

I think you are having this error because the "archive_db" which is saved to your local drive C: is corrupted so to be able to fix this error you have to delete the "archive_db" file then restart your computer the correct file will be created automatically so don't have to download that file again. If the same error happens just delete it again and also delete the arc_db to make sure that will work this time then restart your computer.

Getting an error message when starting HDM Pro

Previous archives that were being transferred or deleted may still be lingering in the list. When they are still present somewhat and populating the archives list, this normally happens and prevents the launch of HDM Pro or any similar application.

You can solve this by:

1. Go to Drive C:
2. Look for folders named, “arc_db” and “archive_db” and delete them
3. Restart HDM

It should work properly now.
