To raise the forest functional level follow these steps. First step you need to take is open active domains and trusts. To open active domains and trusts, go to Start, click on administrative tools and then click on active directory domains and trusts option. Now right click on active directory domains and trusts, and then select raise forest functional level. Last step is to select the required value of raise and click on raise option. Hope this helps.
