Get HP print spooler error message?

Hello experts

When i am trying to attach a printer or trying to print a page, i found this HP print spooler error: “Operation could not be completed. The print spooler service is not running.”

Although sometimes i am getting this error message: “Operation could not be completed.”

What should i do now? Give me a solution.

Please.

Error: Windows can’t open Add Printer. The local print spooler service is running.

Please restart the spooler or restart the machine.

Hello Johnny,

To fix that issue, you will need to get rid of the old drivers from your computer,  or if you have any previous drivers installed on the computer by accessing the Programs and features utility you will have to remove them too.

• On your computer click start, and then in the start search bar type programs and features and then press enter on your keyboard.
• Check to see if you have any previous printer software as well as drivers in the list of installed programs and then uninstall them.
• After than reboot the computer.
• You should then try adding the printer and check if that resolves the issue.

Get HP print spooler error message?

Hi John,

It's a common Spooler Issue. Try this simple yet effective steps to rectify the issue.

• Go to Command Prompt. Type CMD under on the Search Box then hit Enter.

Note: If unable to execute on Command Prompt, manually look for Command Prompt by going to "All Programs", "Accessories" and Right-Click Command Prompt then select "Run as Administrator" to gain full control.

Please observe proper spacing.

• On the Black Screen type – net stop spooler then hit Enter.
• On the Black Screen type – net start spooler then hit Enter.

 

• On the Black Screen type – sc config spooler depend= rpcss then hit Enter.

This step will refresh/restart the spooler subsystems and delete all corresponding dependencies producing such error.

You may install the software after completing the steps.
