Hi,

I use Iphone software 3.1.3.My iphone is listed in the Xcode Organizer Window. I received the required keys or certificate (whatever you call). However, when I connect my iPhone to my laptop and choose ‘Build and Go’, received the above error. I tried rebooting the device and the Xcode.

Please help. It was not a cakewalk as I thought.

Error:  “Generic LSE Failure (no more info!)”

Thanks,

Mary

Generic LSE Failure – iPhone error

Hi,

You might want to try the following steps:

Access the lotus notes designer and choose the template or database icon and then follow this method. Click "Tools" then click "Recompile All LotusScript"

Although it warns you that it will take some time, you only need to wait for a few seconds. You will then have to re-save if this exact error message appears: "code in a form or agent was saved before the lotusscript library was saved"

If it happens in a scheduled agent, try to check the notes.log and agent log on the server if a scheduled agent doesn't seem to run. So you'll have to test until it runs. It would be better if you re-save all configuration at all times as it might also happen with shared files. This type of issue mostly happens with Lotus Notes 7.02, so recompiling all Lotusscript is most recommended. One more thing, when changing design attributes or so called (agent code type), it is better to use a keyboard instead of a mouse, as it could also happen when changing event code from a lotusscript to a formula.

Hope this helps
