I am planning to buy a smart phone named Galaxy Prime from ICEMOBILE Phones, which seems to be having less cost when compared with similar Android version phones. I am interested to hear from my techyv friends in this regard as I am not much aware of Smartphones specifications.

I would like to tell you that the price of Icemobile Galaxy Prime is about 1/3 of the other Smartphones available in the market with the same specifications, so if you purchase this phone, you need to compromise a bit with its functionality.Â
Its best features are:-
1. Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread).
2. 5.2 inches, TFT capacitive touch screen display with resolution of 480 X 800 pixels.
3. 5 MP Autofocus Camera.
4. 650 MHz ARM11 CPU.
But this phone has an issue of Low internal memory. If you want to run many applications on this phone then this is not the right choice. However, if you look at its price you can ignore that small issue.
You may check Micromax A100, which comes with almost the same specifications and price like Galaxy Prime. One of the advantages with A100 is its Android OS v4.0.3.

It has 3G internet speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps.
A big expandable memory card of up to 32 GB.
It runs on Android Gingerbread (V 2.3).
It has a camera of about 5Â mp.
Its CPU is quite fast, having a processor of 650 MHz.
In the long run, I would term it as a very good phone.
I think I would go for it.
