Hello experts,

What is the use of taskbar gadgets? My current operating system is windows 7 starter, dual core and with a processor speed of 2.1 gghrtz. Can you give me some ways to get some important information regarding taskbar gadgets?

Hi Hunter Chasee,

You mean sidebar gadgets? Those gadgets use for your easy access to some feature from your computer, like news, weather, CPU meter, etc. You can easily close or change it if you don’t like it by right clicking the gadget and select close gadget. Or add some by right clicking the desktop and select gadget.

The windows 7 taskbar is redesigned to help you get the most of your programs and files.

 

Gadgets are windows 7 mini programs that keep information’s and tools for you to easy use them, the common gadgets that come with windows 7 are calendar, clock, CPU meters, Currency, slide show, weather and windows media center.

 

To check the gadgets that your windows 7 have click on start, then type gadget, and click on add gadgets to the desktop, it will open all windows 7 gadgets for you on your desktop.

 

You are free to use the gadgets the way you want, for instant you can take the clock gadget and place it on your desktop and you can do this only by dragging the gadget to your desktop.

 

You can also right mouse click on your gadget and add it again or remove it from the gadget.
