Hi, I am here to know about desktop managers. What are desktop managers used for? Is it possible for us to create virtual desktop managers? Does anybody have any knowledge about desktop manager for Windows 7?
A desktop manager can be defined as a user interface that enables the user to run applications and file system without directly using the Operating system.
There is some software that provides virtual desktop managers fro Windows:
i. VirtuaWin – A user can easily switch windows using this virtual desktop manager. It has highly customized tools and a variety of plug-ins. You can even track your time spent in different windows fro play, work, and other projects.
ii. Dexpot – You can have 20 workspaces to divide your work into separate places. You can navigate to the virtual desktops using keyboard shortcuts, or setup small thumbnail cataloguer of the active working desktops, or can preview the windows in full screen mode.
