Hello Techyv Friends,

I came to know that debug symbols for 3ds Max 2012 is available through symbol server, which will help SDK users to create better plugins easily.  I want to know whether it's free and where to get 3ds Max symbol for downloads for free.

Hi Delanney Pate,

3ds Max 2012 Symbol Server is absolutely free. You can get it from

https://area.autodesk.com/blogs/chris/debug_symbol_server_for_3ds_max_2012/

and to access it you have to make follow some steps:

1). From Visual Studio Tool menu option choose Options from the left hand window and then select Symbols from it.

2). Now enter Server Address here.
