Hi,

I have installed FrameMaker tool that I use for writing and editing large documents. I have this document that can’t open and it display the error below. What could be wrong with my document?

Although C:Untitled1.fm appears to be a FrameMaker document, it can’t be opened with this release of the product.

Frame Maker Desktop Publishing Tool error

Hello Leonard, good to see you. Also I feel sorry for you for your problem.

While opening an .fm file, you got this error. It means that the file is created with other version that the version of FrameMaker can’t read because of lagging the required codes.

You will have to get the latest version of FrameMaker. Go to this page and download the latest one. Always the latest versions of programs contain all the necessary codes to decode and open any file.
