Hello,

Recently, I downloaded a video of mp4 format and I also downloaded AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.8 to fix the out of sync audio problem but I found that the mp4 file is not supported in it then I tried to convert the video to .AVI so I loaded avidemux_2.5.2_full_win32 and tried to load the file but I got the following warning with the weird message. Have any idea to fix this problem? Suggest me properly. Thanks.

Confirmation H.264 detected If the file is using B-frames as reference it can lead to a crash of shuttering. Avidemux can use another mode which is safe but you will lose frame accuracy.

DRM (Digital Restrictions Management) maybe prohibiting your access to the media – meaning your downloaded mp4 video is copyrighted and encrypted. Its just like when you buy a digital copy with Blu- Ray. You can only copy the file twice – one to your PC, the other to a portable player.

There’s no other way to solve your issue if the case is related with DRM. It’s illegal. I suggest you screen capture the video with Camtasia, etc. and save it in AVI format then use it. The quality is degraded but it’s the only way I can think as of now.
