Format Hard Drive with No Disk

We bought a computer today off of craigslist, and we turned it on, and it has no start button or task toolbar for that matter. We want to format the hard drive, but there is no disk drive anywhere. Is it possible to do this through a USB?

Also, this computer won't seem to do anything, not even open a flash drive to view the files.

Format Hard Drive with No Disk

Clearly you have some serious issue. Which version of windows you are using ? Is it a licensed version or a you are using a pirated version. If you bought it recently you better give it a fresh OS.

Your current operating system might fall down due to some serious file missing or virus infection. Are you using an Antivirus software ?

It would be better if you just install a fresh new Windows or you can run an antivirus check to your full Hard disk drive.
