Flash AS3 applications upload and update errors

Hi,

I am experiencing quite a difficult time, trying to upload or update applications with my iPhone. I first thought it was a virus invasion, which proved not to be the case, after I counter scanned the phone with a valid up to date Antivirus and found 0 viruses.

The error message ERROR — "Application failed code sign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate."

The first time I got the error message, I was using an original Apple Certificate. I then followed a friend’s suggestion of revoking the original certificate and distribution files. Still I received the same error. I have spent quite a lot of time looking for a solution online and almost all solutions may seem to be for Xcode.

I am using Flash AS3 to iOS. I have tried a new certificate and an new provision profiles and still the, "Application failed code sign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate." error keeps on appearing. I have tried to post this problem to other sites and even the iOs official site but there is nothing positive.

I have waited forever. Is there any flash developer here? Any solution please?

Thank you.

Anderson Clark,

First thing you should do is to check if you have duplicate certificate registry on your keychain. If there are duplicate registry on same keychains, remove one of them. This should be able to fix the problem. Just follow the steps below to remove duplicate certificate registration on your keychain:

1. Open the KeyChain Access application.

2. Go to "Login" keychain.

3. Find and navigate to "Certificates" at the bottom of the pane.

4.Look to the "System" keychain

5. Check if there are duplicate certificates registered on both chains.

6. Decide what to delete on one of them

7. Try rebuilding your application

Come back if you still encounter the problem.

Regards,

Lisa
