I am encountering this error “Word Cannot Open This Document Template” since I last restarted my computer. How can I fix this problem? Someone, please help.
It is a very frequent error that occurs. Follow the steps to fix it.
1) Open Windows Explorer.
2) Click on the “Organize” option on the toolbar.
3) Select “Folder and Search Options”.
4) Select the “View” tab in the dialog box.
5) Click on “View Hidden Files and Folders”
6) Select OK.
7) Now type “.dotx” in the search bar.
8) Find two files starting with “~” and have the same name.
9) Delete those two files.
10) Restart your PC.
11) Problem Solved.
