Whenever I try to play a video song or movie on YouTube in internet explorer 8, it is not working. However, if I open the same link in chrome, it's working fine, there is no issue at all in chrome. Adobe flash player for internet explorer 8 is not compatible or what? How could this problem be fixed?

It may cause for several issues that are preventing Flash player from loading in internet explorer. Please see my instructions below.Â
1. Please go to "tools" button from your internet explorer 8 and go to "manage add-ons".Â
2. From there please select "All add-ons" and check that your plug in is running or enabled.Â
3. The active security may also because of harming your adobe flash from running. To turn off please go to "tools" and go to "safety". Choose "ActiveX is filtering to toggle off".

Try clicking on the Internet Options and then Security. Change the Security level into medium and then click OK. Or to connect to YouTube using Internet Explorer 8, click Start > Run> type appwiz.cpl and then press Enter.Â
Scroll down and locate the Adobe Flash Player. Click to remove or uninstall it. When done with the uninstall, re-launch IE8. Here you can get the latest Adobe Flash Player and then install it.
Disable your pop-up blocker by clicking on the Tools menu in IE8, select the Pop-up Blocker option and turn it off. Click Start menu and then open the C:/Windows/System32.Â
Search for the Macromed folder and open it. Open the Flash folder and then right-click Flash Util9b.exe or Flash Util9e.exe and then click Run as Administrator. Install the updates.
